Home/Piles

Piles are a method of repairing foundation settlement. Concrete or helical piles can be used to stabilize your foundation from sinking further into the ground. Of all available methods, the JES foundation pile system is guaranteed to prevent your home from moving.

Helical piles are used to stabilize lighter structures such as out buildings and porches. The pile is screwed into the ground in the same method a wood screw is driven. Once the piles are in place, the weight of the structure is transferred from the soil onto the pile. This method is very effective in preventing further settlement, however, will not raise or lift the structure in anyway.

Concrete piles are used on heavier structures for stabilization. A hollow caisson is driven into the ground and filled with concrete to support the structure. This method offers more strength than a helical pile. Once again – concrete piles do not offer the ability to lift the structure in anyway.

JES offers both helical piles and a push pile system. The push pile system gives the ability to hydraulically lift the structure as well as stabilize. Engineered JES piles offer protection against further settlement problems. Find out more on which system will work best for you by clicking here!!!
