Foundation repair cost
Added
December 10, 2006
Q. How much does it cost to fix a residential foundation? The house is 2,600 square feet/ I have cracks in the brick walls and cracks around my windows.
A: $0-200,000. I know it’s not the answer you wanted, but it’s as close as any professional can give you from the information you’ve given us.
To determine the cost, you first need to determine the scope of work. There are three types of settlement – uniform, tipping, and differential. Depending on the type and location of the cracks, the amount of work needed for the repair can vary greatly.
Before worry with the cost, first determine the problem, the cause, the extent of the problem, and what options you have to correct it. Once the scope of work has been determined, the pricing is usually fairly simple to calculate.
